
Andi Batari, a student of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Universitas Muslim Indonesia, qualified as a finalist representing LLDIKTI Region IX Sultanbatara from the Private Higher Education (PTS) sector in the field of Biology.
The final round took place on 8–12 June 2026 at Universitas Airlangga, Surabaya. The event brought together 260 finalists from 85 universities across Indonesia. These finalists were selected from 3,712 participants and 1,168 higher-education institutions nationwide.
The Rector of UMI, Prof. Dr. H. Hambali Thalib, stated that this achievement proves that the atmosphere of research, innovation, and academic culture at UMI continues to excel and compete on the nation's highest scientific stage.
